Spring season is here, the sun is shining and it's warming up in Georgia! Usually we head out to the Greenway on weekends to have some fun, get some exercise, and of course to tire out the kiddos. If you're staying local this spring break, head out to the Greenway or a nearby park for a walk, job, bike ride, or a picnic!
Here are my favorite access points for the Greenway between Roswell & Cumming
1. North Point Mall - this is super easy to access and always has parking spots. There is a bathroom here and water fountains! It's a short walk from the parking lot to a 3 way intersection on the trail and then your options are endless! Of course, after you are done, you can knock out all of your errands!
2. Bethelview Road - this is convenient to access and plenty of parking. There is a bathroom here as well! This location has a few outdoor strength training machines which is always a big hit for my kids. There is a ton of boardwalk on this portion of the trail, and it makes for a bumpy bike ride, which my kids also love! You pass a lot of wildlife on this portion of the trail as well. We go here to watch tadpoles, snakes, birds, and turtles (picture above!).
3. Fowler Park - I usually get stuck at the playground when we go here and then I get zero exercise myself. If you park at the skate park instead of the playground, the kids won't even notice may not notice. It's a great portion of the trail and very convenient!
What are your favorite places to get outside?
